So to start out i met the first person who speaks english here! He is from great britian and swears just about every other word haha he came down here for vacation and got in a fight so now he has to wait for his visa and he said nothing but bad things about peru. I was getting so angry at him because i LOVE PERU! He told me he has been here 15 months and cant speak spanish. when i told him ive been here 4 months and speak fluently he got a little mad haha It truly goes to show you how much loving the people and culture help! Im so greatful for the advice everyone gave me before my mission to love the people! God has blessed me so very much!!
So this week we were tlaking to an old lady and i caught eyes with this super drunk guy. he walked up to me and grabbed my hand but i just pulled it away and kept talking to the lady, then he put his head down and tried biting my hand! I wanted to backhand him sooo bad haha! we just walked away and laughed at his insults!
this week i have read alot on Thomas S. Monson and he is truly so amazing! he always listens to the sprirt and obeys it! one night i was thinking.. i want more spirituall impressions and then i got one to talk to a guy.. i was super tired and didnt think about doing it then almost a voice came to my head saying, "you asked for it!" haha i had to obey it and talked with him and he is the first person i met here who watches basketball!!! he has a family and we are going to be teaching them soon! God is great!
Not to much else from this week! Jsut know that things here are good. Its soooooo dangerous here but i feel like we have angles walking with us every step of the way! Love it!
I know this gospel is true. I know christ lives and governs his church today. I know there is nothing we can ever do in this life that the atonement cant wipe clean.

haha thanks for the email mom! Im super bumbed about the Aggies but its alright because they will get ahold of themselves by the time i come home ;) Thats so awesome to hear all my friends getting out on their missions! Especially Alec thats so awesome!! Could you give me the email of Jackie when she gets it? I would love to hear her thoughts on her mision! Haha the weather here makes time fly because i dont feel like anything is changing! Today i have 5 months and i feel like its been 1! The seasons definetly help with that! I am so so so so pained to hear about Gabe not wanting to go to church. idk what happend but something traumatic if he really doesent want anything to do with that group of Boys. Skyler moving probly didnt help. just pray and fast and pray and fast! things are good here. I keep having some interesting things happen with all the drunk people here haha one tried to eat my hand but its all good :) One investigator named Maria is totally changing her life around and has attended church 7 times now. She wants to be a member but has to wait because she is a drug addict and has commited some pretty bad things. i have been so honored to see the power of christ change her! Thanks for the christmas package! Im definetly gonna wait! maybe i can open them on skype with yall! Skype is coming up this month as well! WOW! Anyways things are good here. im having great experiences and changing alot! Its so amazing!
