August 24, 2015

WOW! what a week! I am beginning to love and love peruanos with each pasing day! Even the ones that shove their doors in our face haha. this week was really tough. the past couple of days we barely taught lessons and all of our appointments fell. like seriously we had an appointment every hour and they would all fall, however...

I HAD MY 1ST BAPTISM! this saturday was a very special day for me. Lince 2 is a companionship of hermanas and they had an investigator ready for baptism my companion is the district leader and so we went there to interveiw her. They asked who she wanted to baptism her and she asked me if i would! i asked her if its because im white, everyone laughed and one of the hermanas said no it was the spirit! haha IDK about that but i was definetlly not complaining!

I was really stressing out because i had to memorize the baptism pray and her name! It would be so hard if her name wasent 5 names long! haha seriously guys 5 names long. i was going over everything again and again in my head then stepped into the ice cold water and forgot everything. my mind went blank. haha i sat there for a second and everyone probly thought i was getting emotional but no i just forgot! haha so i finally rememberd everything and baptised her! everything was amazing until my conmpanion said i forgot to say commisionado.... oh my my heart dropped haha so i baptized her a second time and it went awesome! haha Im gonna count it for 2 baptisms ;) haha other then that everything is awesome down here!  Thanks for your support! Love you guys!

MOM!
i love you so much. this week was rough as it goes for missinary work. all of our appointments fell. however we had 4 investigators at church! our sector is huge mom. we have to walk so much. we go to bed every night exhausted. my legs hurt so much. my feets are swollen ha. we wake up and it feels like i havent even slept. the physicall stress is a ton but not like anything i experienced on sunday with the emtotinall stress. i miss you guys a ton and had huge homesickness during sacrament. elder parra sat with one of our investigators so i sat alone waiting for any others. i have never felt so alone in my entire life mom. i was just thinking of home. thinking of dad our perfect bishop and sitting with you guys. i put my head down and just cried.. to say i miss you guys is a huge understatement. i cant explain it. its like someone took out your heart and shipped it aaway. i love you guys so much. i know every missionary goes through this. elder parra has a family but his dad lives on the street. no one writes him but other missionarys. his mom has another family. when i think about his family i feel so sad for him. i am so lucky to have you guys. please pray for me that i can get over this. i need to. like my other email said i had my first baptism! pictures to come. i love you mom. stay strong. tell everyone i love them!!!

LOVE YOU!!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH DAD,
Its so nice to hear from you. this week was tough. im exhausted. we work so hard dad and no one will listen. or they will listen but dont care enough to change. its so hard. However i dont complain about this. we strap up and get to work and when we work hard i forget about everything else and that helps. im having alot of homesickness especially sunday. please read moms email about that. please pray for me in this. how did you overcome yours? Sunday was the 1st time i could honestly say i wanted to just go home and be with you guys. i miss you guys so much. and its so hard without you. its really hitting me hard. everything. yesterday was so rough. but im just gonna try to forget it and go to work. i read a talk about how horses have blinders to keep away all distractions and only focus on ahead. ive been trying to do that but need help. i pray to the lord everyday for help in this. i love you dad and want you to know were working hard. PLEASE tell the whole family i love them and miss them. LOVE YOU!!
